In a recent internet marketing study, it was revealed that search engine optimisation (SEO)is the best way to maximise your opportunities of reaching potential clients online. This said, it is deemed to outperform ‘pay per click’ advertising and social media marketing when it comes to the most effective method of gaining enquiries and sales online. Unfortunately, despite this evidence, when asked, more businesses still said that they were focused on expanding their social media budget and their online presence rather than investing in valuable SEO techniques. The question that has to be asked is why?

If you are using a third-party plugin to display PageRank info, such as those available for Firefox and Chrome, you may have have been slightly worried over the past couple of days that your website has lost it’s PageRank and is now showing as PR0. Don’t worry, it’s almost definitely not the case that your website has lost PageRank, just that the plugin has not been updated to use Google’s new PageRank lookup URL.
