SearchQuest will build your site on our renowned ecommerce content management system SQSHOP.  Rather than using a standard, off-the-shelf package which can be restrictive in terms of functionality we will use our award winning in house system SQSHOP, and as we are specialists in SEO we can confidently say that it is the most search engine friendly system available. Most onsite SEO factors are done automatically on all product and category pages and you also have the facility to easily add keyword and description tags yourself. When developing the SQSHOP system we were very conscious of the fact that it needed to be simple for you the retailer to use. You have the ability to add or edit as many pages/products etc as you want and easily make use of all the functionality detailed below, the whole system is very easy to use on a day to day basis meaning the SQSHOP system is ideal for any business wishing to sell their products online.

The SQSHOP system will include:

User Management

  • Site Administrator: You can access all parts of your website. You can create site managers with different user roles accessing different parts of the website (products, orders and web users).

Product Management

Each product will be able to have a product category, a product tag, a number of features, related products and product groups.

  • Product Category will be multilevel (categories, sub-categories etc.). The system will be able to fetch all the products under the category (this includes the products under the sub category as well)
  • Product Tag will be single-level and a product can have multiple tags such as featured product, sale, blue, men’s etc.
  • Product Features is a structured list of features which can be used to compare the products and for advanced search. The product feature list can be editable by you as the Site Administrator.
  • Related Products will allow you as the Site Administrator to specify the related products for each product.
  • Product Group will allow you as the Site Administrator to group the products as required. Each product group can have a product group name, group description, group price.
  • Product Variants will allow your products to have different variants like colour, size etc. and the different options will be allowed to have different prices.
  • Product  Bundles will allow you to bundle several products together and apply a discount if all the products are purchased as the bundle.
  • Product Stock Control will allow you as the Site Administrator to populate the CMS with the stock quantity of each product and its variants.
  • Advanced Product Search and Product Comparison using the product features.
  • Users of your website will be allowed to proceed to checkout as guest or as a registered user. PayPal, SagePay and Google Checkout payment systems are all available.
  • A Bonus Point system, which adds bonus points when the registered users buy your products. The bonus points can then be redeemed later. As the Site Administrator you will be able to specify the value of the bonus points.
  • Gift/Voucher codes these can be set by you as the Site Administrator for each category/product or even for the entire site.
  • Delivery Prices can be set dynamically for each order based on the location, order quantity/value and the delivery option. As the Site Administrator you will be able to specify the prices in the admin panel.
  • VAT  calculation on the shopping cart can specified by you as the Site Administrator.
  • Invoice system for creating invoices based on online orders as well as offline orders (via phone). The system will be able to mail the invoice to your customers.
  • Of course the product fields will also contain other fields where you can enter things like the product name, description, image etc.

Order/Payment Management

  • Users of your website will be allowed to proceed to checkout as guest or as a registered user. PayPal, SagePay and Google Checkout payment systems are all available.

Widget System

The widget system will allow you to include widgets like photo gallery, share this button etc. anywhere in the system. As the Site Administrator you will be able to set the position of the widgets (in the content, header or in a sidebar) as well as the pages where the widgets must appear (every page, product page, category page or in one particular page)

  • Photo gallery widget will allow you as the Site Administrator to upload the images of the products and the images will be displayed in the product page. The photo gallery effect options will be the ones in LightBox and MagicZoom.
  • Site Administrators are able to create static widgets (text boxes).
  • Code Injection, Site Administrators are able to inject HTML code anywhere in the CMS (head and body).
  • Form Builder Widget, which allows you as the Site Administrator to create a form in the site. As Site Administrator you will be able to specify if data from the form should be saved in the database or mailed to an email address.
  • A context based editor allowing the users to add static pages.
  • Site Administrators are able to select the widgets and the features that are available in a particular website. The Site Administrators are also able to disable the ecommerce system; the system would function as a CMS.
  • Site Administrators are able to view the details of products, orders, customers and change their status.
  • Email manager allows you as the Site Administrator to specify the number of emails sent to the user while processing the order.

Static Pages

  • A context based editor allowing the users to add static pages.

Administration

  • Site Administrators are able to select the widgets and the features that are available in a particular website. The Site Administrators are also able to disable the ecommerce system; the system would function as a CMS.
  • Site Administrators are able to view the details of products, orders, customers and change their status.
  • Email manager allows you as the Site Administrator to specify the number of emails sent to the user while processing the order.

  • Product Reviews Site users will be able to leave reviews on each individual product which you can then approve or delete before being published.
